Homemade Coconut Milk

 

Ingredients:

¾ cup unsweetened coconut flakes

2 cups filtered water

Nut milk bag (use code “jacki10” for discount on elliesbest.com)

Optional: dash of cinnamon and/or vanilla extract

 

Instructions:

1. Blend coconut flakes with filtered water for ~30-45 seconds

2. Strain over a large bowl using a nut milk bag

3. Squeeze out all the liquid until all that is left in the bag is coconut "pulp"

4. Transfer milk into a mason jar or container with lid and enjoy! :) 

Optional: add cinnamon and/or vanilla extract for flavor

 

The milk is good for about 3-5 days! I use this in my coffee or matcha, oatmeal and to make chia pudding!
